Lotek in QLD

Just got back from a weekend in Brisbane, did 2 gigs…the first was at X&Y bar in the valley along with Evil Eddie.
Rudekat Soundsystem provided the backing and I gotta say they did a bang up job!

I flew into Brisbane at 9am with nothing but a few hours sleep on the plane and after meeting up with the Rudekat guys around noon we jammed all afternoon. By the time we got to the venue at 8pm I was shattered…it took a “kick my arse” strength coffee from Pieface to get me up and at ‘em.

By this time Sunny Dread and The Rudekat Soundsystem had amped up the crowd and vibe soon washed away any tiredness.

The crowd really got into the tunes and even joined in for a Bob Marley style sing-a-long for Rudest Dude.

The next night at The Joynt somehow managed to top the previous gig, All Underground Sound and Truth Serum rocked solid sets and once again I was joined by Rudekat Soundsystem who by now were playing my songs like they had played them for years….

Can’t wait to get back!! In fact it wont be long I’ll be back up for this…
